In this poetry book, Virginia Gillard takes us on a remarkable journey of resilience and rediscovery. As an actress, clown, and poet, her life was filled with words and expression. However, a stroke altered Virginia's path, forcing her to navigate the labyrinth of language once more.

A collection of short stories and poems Polishing Iceland by Ewa Marcinek, a Polish writer living in Reykjavík. With humour and irony, she describes the reality of a young Polish woman who moves to Iceland to start a new life.

In the latest issue of Ós — The Journal, published in 2022 In the sixth edition of our Journal we welcome new and old authors both of written and visual works, and we introduce new languages such as Korean, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Swedish, and Swiss German.

The previous issue of Ós — The Journal, published in 2021, features the works of 34 authors. Genres span from short fiction, memoir to poetry and non-fiction in 11 languages: Dutch, English, French, German, Icelandic, Italian, Indonesian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish and Turkish.

Ós Pressan’s first book, Autosarcophagy: To Eat Oneself by Venezuelan-Icelandic author Helen Cova, is a collection of short stories where magic realism and dark fantasy mix to bring together Icelandic fjords and the Caribbean. It is available in English and Icelandic.
